Want to become a member of our fantastic swim team!?  Simply click on the schedule, and select a day and time that is convenient for you, and we will be happy to evaluate your child and place them into one of our practice groups.

 

• We refer to this initial step onto our team as an “evaluation”.  By this we mean that we will have your child swim some basic strokes and evaluate ability, so that we are best able to place them into a proper group , based upon age and ability.

• An evaluation usually takes 10 minutes or less!  There are 10 distinct groups within our team, so we will effectively be able to place your child in a group which is best for him or her!

• Evaluations are currently being held on Saturday at Alf Sorensen's (1400 Baring Blvd, Sparks)

• Simply let the front desk attendant know that you are there for the Sparks Piranhas Swim Team, and he/she will direct you to the pool.  ** (Come through the gate on the side and enter through the doors into the pool.  Be sure your child is already in their suit and ready to swim.)

• One of our friendly staff members will gladly help you from there, just let any of them know you are there for your evaluation!

• Simply bring a cap and a pair of goggles.

• YOU WILL RECEIVE A FREE WEEK of practice, so that both the parent and child may experience our team before making a commitment to join.

  • All applicable fee’s and schedules vary according to group placement, so such information will be provided upon completion of the evaluation.

  • Also, all practice days and times will be provided upon completion of the evaluation as well.

  • Any questions you may have will be answered by our friendly staff!  But like most things, there are usually questions which will arise after you leave – no worries, please send an e-mail to evaluations@sparkspiranhasaquatics.com to help you with any questions you may have!

 

As a courtesy, should you be unable to attend your evaluation, please click on this link (evaluations@sparkspiranhasaquatics.com) and send a quick email to Becky so that we may re-schedule you as soon as possible.  Life happens, we certainly understand, just let us know if you are unable to attend, and we’ll find another day which works best for you!
